FRUIT OF TEMPERENCE

The meaning of the word is relatively self-determination. The word amount comes from the  Greek (enkrateia) which means self-determination. Word enkrateia comes from the word krat which means the authority
or  administration. The amount is optimal of the fruit of  Spirit. This  is  important characteristic for every  Christian  who  is born again to have. God created man and gave him the ability to govern himself that's why He gave us the fruit of amount.

Some of the most important things that we should fulfill in order to  have the fruit of amount:
1. Food.
Eating too much that's extortion. "Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these ... .those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:21.

Elsewhere we read that we must not eat too much of it.
"Did you see honey? Eat a sufficient extent; you shall not eat until you will be sick". Proverbs 25:16.

2. Visiting others.
Someone who goes home (visit)  to other people  frequently  without important reason  doing this is not a good behavior. That is why God teaches us by saying,  "Your foot be seldom in your neighbor's house but that; Lest he be weary of the hate". Proverbs 25:17.

3. The use  of  God’s gift that has given you.
It is important that everyone to  be submitted when he is used in the gifts that God has given you  without desiring the gifts of others.  God has given each other gifts as he wills. Also everyone is a link to one another and has given different gifts,  so that the body of Christ may be built up.  When  a person has been endowed with any of the gifts is not greater than another, but it is just a link, he is a constructor,  worker and laborer in the body of Christ. A Man should not be ambitious of great things  than the gift that  he was given to him. We must serve using the gift which we are given. That is why it is written; "...Everyone in you should not be ambitious of becoming great; but have committed much, as God gifted every man the measure of faith. For as in one body we have many links, and all links have not the same office; so that we, who are many ingredients are one body in Christ, and members of one another. And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given; whether prophecy, let us give the prophesy according to the faith; if service, in his serving us; he who teaches, in his teaching". Romans 12: 3-7.

4. Speak inexact.
It is important for a Christians who is saved to  be  careful not to speak  too much, but first he should think first before talking. Talking too much has led many to stumble to lie.  It is advisable to dominate everyone's mouth,  speak quickness. "In the multitude of words there does not fail to be transgression; But he who restrains his lips is prudent. " Proverbs 10:19. "I said, I will take heed to my ways. Lest I sin with my tongue; I will put a bridle on my mouth, while the wicked is before me. " Psalm 39: 1. "Who restrains his lips is wise, and with a calm spirit". Proverbs 17:27.

5. Control your  thought.
You must govern your heart and your mind not allow bad thoughts, also you need to have  self-control. If you have self-control, bad thoughts can't  get a chance in you. You should think good thoughts and this pleases God. Jesus taught this  and He said; "Either make the fig tree good and its fruit good; or make the fig tree bad and its fruit bad; for by its fruits the tree is recognized. You offspring  of vipers how can you speak good things? For the mouth speaks his heart overflow. A good man out   of the good treasure brings forth good things; and an evil man of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things". Matthew 12: 33-35.

From the above scriptures,  it teaches us we can make a decision to determine the  good or bad thinking that overflow from our heart.  We are given fruit of amount to control ourselves which   pleases  God and we can stand firm in Jesus Christ.

6. The lust of property and money.
Possession of  property or  money is not bad (sin), but one should work hard to earn them through legitimate for what the Lord had blessed. It is important to  be satisfied with what the Lord has granted you in order to avoid to be a person who  lust  the property or  money obtained through evil ways. Take control in your lives from too much of  loving money. One must  satisfied with what you have as  God  said, "I will never leave you; I will never run away from you”. Hebrews 13: 5. "But those who have the lust of money and property will be  fall into temptation and snare, and many foolish desires and hurtful, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the root of all evil is loving money; which some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows". Timothy 6: 9-10.

FRUIT OF PATIENCE

This is the fruit that shows the patience of God to men, although they are sinful.  God is patient and he give them the time to turn and repent. He is slow to anger and    compassion for his people.  He  love to draw them to repentance.  ".... The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering,  and abundant in goodness and abundance,  keeping merciful for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; not ascribing evil man who was innocent would never ... ". Exodus 34: 6, 7. We can  continue to learn about the patience of God, before he brought a flood of water  upon the earth in order  to destroy the mankind because of the evil they were doing.  He gave them a period of time if they will repent. "People should obey the past, God's patience while waiting in the days of Noah, while the ark was made; wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved in the water". 1Peter 3:20. Those who did not repent were destro...
