The following subject, l will explain how to identify the qualities of God’s prophets based on the prophets the way they were doing during the Old and New testament. It is important to explain these qualities in order to enable everyone to identify and escaped (distinguish) between the true and false prophets. They have the following qualities:
1.They were honest. Here we will look into three prophets: Jesus, Moses and Samuel who were honest to do all of the instructions given by God. "... he was a faithful to him appointed him, as the Moses faithful in all his house . For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house". Hebrews 3: 1-2. In this text, Jesus was compared like Moses who was faithful. Another was Samuel, when he was an old he witnessed children of Israel faithful since he was teenager. Read more in the Bible 1Samuel 12: 2-5.
2. They said what God instruct or show them without increasing or decreasing. "For the prophecy come not in old time by the will of man: but holy men God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost ". 2 Peter 1: 21.
3. They were assiduously to seek God's face. Here l will cite the prophets who were diligently to pray hard before God. They were: Jesus Christ our Lord, Elijah and Ane. Read more in the Bible, Luke 22: 41- 44, Luke 2: 36-38 and James 5: 17-18.

4. They were humble and fear God.
5. They were sympathy and intercede for the nation before God so that God will not judge the people because of the crimes that they did.
6. Nevertheless what they foretell came true. In respect with the end of time, it is important for every believer to be careful and understand that not every prophet who say the prophecy and become accomplished is a true Prophet. "lf there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a signs or wonder, And the sign or wonder come to pass, thereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not know, and let us serve them: Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, for the Lord your God proveth you ..." Deuteronomy 13: 1-3.

Deuteronomy 13: 1-3.
From the above scripture it is clearly shows that, we can identify the prophets who lead people astray for the things they were said or guide them which is against God’s words. If they do not have good fruit they are false prophets. That's why it is written, "Beware of false proof false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs thistles?. Even so may good tree bears fruits good bringeth forth fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit" Matthew 7: 15-17. Read more in the Bible Matthew 7: 18-23. When we look at a good tree, is an example of a man who is doing according to the will of God (God’s will), and the example of bad tree is the man who is doing against God's will.
7.The prophecy matches to the word of God that were given, it doesn't contradict to the God's word anywhere in the Bible. A believer can recognize a true prophecy by the use of the word of God. Nevertheless, must first be acquainted with God’s word and keep them in his heart. "And the word of Christ dwell abundance in you in the wise ..." Colossians 3:16. Once a person abide God's word fully in his heart can evaluate all things in spirit.
Ways of recognizing false prophets is through:
1. We can identify or differentiate their behavior which is not related to God’s word and are definitely not can not be hidden. If we use the word of God and fruit of spirit as measure, it is simple to recognize them. "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance against such there is no law". Galatians 5: 22-23.
2. Identifying them for their teaching which is framed or enterpretend by human text which is opposed to the word of God. They teaches and preach the word by distorting the enterpretation opposed to the scriptures in the Bible. Their teachings are false accusation and untruth, mixed with God’s word as if it is the word of God. They seduce those who are ignorance to the word of God. As a believer, if you pay attention and you know well the scriptures full in the Bible, you will know that the prophecy they teach and preach conflict against the scriptures in the Bible. That's why it is written do not believe every spirits (soul), we should test them first. "Beloved, believe not all spirit but try the spirits. whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4: 1.
For teachers and preachers.
It is important to be careful when you interpret scriptures of God's word in the Bible, it should be equal to other scriptures in the Bible. If you do not know it correctly, do not teach people as it will lead them astray and you will be judged. It is written: "For l testify unto every man that heareth the words of prophecy of this book. If any man shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the work of the book of this part out of the book of life and out of the holy city, and the things which are written in this book" Revelation 22: 18-19. "... the word which command, neither shall Ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you." Deuteronomy 4: 2. In the scriptures above, God has warned lest we shall not add in his words already written in the book. Therefore we are not allowed to mixed the word of God and our doctrine in the Bible. Also he warned us not to remove or reduce his words which already written in his book.
