SABBATH.

The meaning of the word sabbath.
The Sabbath is derived from the Hebrew word "Shabbat" which means stop, or  rest. Due to the order of God, there were two Sabbaths.

The first Sabbath.
God created everything in six days. The seventh day he stopped working he rested. This is a Sabbath for God. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all his army. On the seventh day he finished his work which he had made; he rested on the seventh day he stopped all his work which he had made. God blessed the seventh day and made ​​it holy, because on it God rested from all his work which God created and made ​​... " Genesis 2: 1- 4.

The next Sabbath.
This was the sabbath to the children of Israel. God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, by means of his servant Moses gave the Sabbath commandment. The reason given is that the Sabbath reminded them that God he saved them from slavery in Egypt . "And you shall remember that you were once slaves in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God out thence through a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. " Deuteronomy 5:15.   In this Sabbath, God made ​​a sign between it and Israel.

The meaning of the word sign
Word sign comes from the Hebrew word "ot" that means to (a) signs, symbols; (b) signs of wonder, a miracle. God has made ​​it a sign between him and the children of Israel, because he rested after creation work; It is written: " It is a sign between me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the Lord made ​​the heavens and the earth, and rested on the seventh day to rest. " Exodus 31:17. God gave the children of Israel to keep the Sabbath.                                                     Keeping the Sabbath.
The seventh day the Israelites were to  stop doing any work and who broke this law was killed. God gave the order and say, " Work will be done six days; but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord; Whoever does any work on the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. " Exodus 31:15.         
Do not switch the fire.
would not cook food  in the seventh day "Sabbath" . "Ye shall kindle no fire in your house for the day of the Sabbath." Exodus 35: 3.

High burnt offering.
Priest was God's permission to work for the burnt offering. "And on the Sabbath day, two lambs of the first  year without spot, and two offering, mingled with oil, and the burnt offering thereof: This is the burnt offering  of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering and this drink offering…” Numbers 28: 9-10.

Sabbath in the New Testament.
The New Testament is the period which defines the information from   birth, death, resurrection and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. During this period until now the law of the  former Moses of the Sabbath was abrogated and renewal. That is why Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said "... so it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath".  Matthew 12:12. He has the power to do good on the Sabbath. He   made ​​the Sabbath; for it is written: "All things were made ​​by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. " John 1: 3.

After Jesus healing on the Sabbath, religious leaders and the law of God saw he broke the Sabbath. But because of lack of understanding they did not know who Jesus do. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and is  a priest forever,  Jesus said to them; "Or have you not read in the law, sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless? For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.  Then he said to the man, stretch out your hand; He stretched it out, and healed, restored, just like the other. " Matthew 12: 3,8,13.

Do we keep the Sabbath in the New Testament?
In the law of Moses (the law) was written many things which ruled followed, which were a shadow of the New Testament; That is why it is written: "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths; These things are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. " Colossians 2: 16,17. In these writings, Colossians were advised not to judge a person by breaking the law about food, drinks, holidays, new moons and Sabbaths. "But now after you have known God, or  rather are known by God, why refer first principles " law " that is feeble, with degenerative, which you want in bondage again? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. " Galatians 4: 9-10.
The above  texts warn Galatians repetition of teachings and serve them, because they are vulnerable, they are degenerative, could never fulfill them in the word of God. "For there is renewal (broken) the former commandment, because of its weakness and worthless; (in the sense that the law made ​​nothing perfect) ; ... " Hebrews 7: 18,19.

The end of the Sabbath.
Jesus healed regularly on the Sabbath, because it would not be kept again. When the Sabbath was about to come to an end because he has come to accomplish  the law. He is the Lord of the Sabbath so it could not be followed again but nullified,  that is why he  worked on the Sabbath,  replied the Jews, he said .  "... My Father worketh even now , and I work." John 5: 10.17.  That is why now we must worship God in spirit.
"Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour is coming in which will neither worship the Father in this mountain nor in Jerusalem " temple ". But the hour cometh, and now is, that when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is spirit, and his. worshipers must worship in spirit and truth. " John 4: 21,23-24.   For this reason we are justified.

Justification of Sabbath by faith.
Now is the time of the new covenant, which took place with the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. This covenant is better than the old one because everyone who believes is justified free. Not to commit acts of law as keeping the Sabbath, sacrifice for sin and the other acts which the law stipulated. "Christ ended the law so that everyone who believes in him is made right with God." Romans 10: 4. "But God has a way to make people right, and it has nothing to do with the law. He has now shown us that new way, which the law and the prophets told us about ". Romans 3:21. Above scriptures  justified clearly that the righteousness of faith was witnessed by the law and the prophets, this is enough proof that anything which is proved by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

FRUIT OF PATIENCE

This is the fruit that shows the patience of God to men, although they are sinful.  God is patient and he give them the time to turn and repent. He is slow to anger and    compassion for his people.  He  love to draw them to repentance.  ".... The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering,  and abundant in goodness and abundance,  keeping merciful for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; not ascribing evil man who was innocent would never ... ". Exodus 34: 6, 7. We can  continue to learn about the patience of God, before he brought a flood of water  upon the earth in order  to destroy the mankind because of the evil they were doing.  He gave them a period of time if they will repent. FRUIT OF TEMPERENCE

The meaning of the word is relatively self-determination. The word amount comes from the  Greek (enkrateia) which means self-determination. Word enkrateia comes from the word krat which means the authority or  administration. The amount is optimal of the fruit of  Spirit. This  is  important characteristic for every  Christian  who  is born again to have. God created man and gave him the ability to govern himself that's why He gave us the fruit of amount.     Some of the most important things that we should fulfill in order to  have the fruit of amount: 1. Food .   Eating too much that's extortion. "Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these ... .those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:21.
